About

I work as a freelance curator and researcher on cross-disciplinary projects for museums, cultural platforms and (online) journals and magazines.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Studies and a Master’s degree in Museum Curating of the VU University Amsterdam. During my studies I developed an interest in theories of representation and authenticity in relation to visual media and museum displays. I currently hold a position as Research Associate at Rijksmuseum Volkenkunde, where I critically explore the use of moving images in the museum’s exhibitions.

What I like doing most is transforming ideas into successful events and writing such as exhibitions, workshops, lectures, articles and online publications. With these projects I aim to creatively engage readers and visitors with developments in art and culture.
